Holy Trinity and St Jude's Halifax

Director of Music and Organist

St. Jude’s Church sits within the parish of Holy Trinity & St. Jude’s: Halifax. A regular congregation of about 60 attends our Sunday morning services at 9:45am. Music is an important part of our life together as a church and we embrace a wide range of musical styles, from contemporary worship songs and modern anthems to traditional hymns and elements of the Anglican Choral tradition.

On the first Sunday of each month, we have All Age Worship where the music is more informal, using the piano and guitar led by a member of the congregation and the priest-in-charge. The Director of Music is not required to attend or play at this service. On the second, third and fourth Sundays of each month we have a sung Eucharistic Service (Common Worship Order One), where our music is led by the Director of Music and our robed choir (adults and junior, current membership of 12).

Could you be the person to join our team?
