As we all look towards Christmas which should be a special time, we are starting to see more people struggling, due to benefit reform and economic factors and also due to breakdown of relationships.  The Saturday Gathering will be putting on a Christmas Meal at Ebenezer Centre on Christmas Day for Drop In guests who would otherwise be alone.

For some of our guests, Christmas could mean another cold night living somewhere on the streets of Calderdale. This winter Christians Together are creating an Inn Church which will run every night through January and February in Calderdale and through March in Huddersfield.  We are hoping to use different churches to house our homeless guests, so we need churches to open their doors and volunteers to help. If you are interested at all we would love to hear from you.

Best wishes

Christine
