Update 9th & 16th November

Food & Support Drop In – 9th and 16th November 2013

 

As we approach Christmas and the weather is getting colder, may I remind people who are interested in helping with the Inn Churches Project this winter, that the training for volunteers is on Tuesday 3rd December, 7pm at Christ Church, Church Lane, Pellon. HX2 0DF.

 

On the 9th November we gave out 143 parcels, 9 of which were new people, we had 41 volunteers and the following people asked for your prayers:

As I mentioned before, it would be nice to give our guests something special for Christmas, such as warm socks, gloves, hats, scarves, chocolates, etc. However, we are unable to accept boxes of toiletries as they often contain alcohol.

 

We are open for deliveries every Thursday between 9am-1pm and Saturday between 9-11.30am.

Cheques are payable to “Christians Together Calderdale.”

If you wish your donations to be for the Drop In only, please write “Drop In” on the back.

If you are happy to support any of the “Christians Together Calderdale” projects wherever the Trustees consider the need is greater, please leave your cheque blank on the back.
